1. Webb CityCoach: John Roderique
2014 finish: 15-0, Class 4 state champion
Team previewWebb City has won five consecutive state titles and, unless a seismic shift in the Missouri high school football scene occurs, it will win a sixth in 2015.
Tyson Roderique, the coach's son, is back at quarterback after tallying nearly 2,000 yards from scrimmage last fall.
Keaton Burroughs and
Kaleb Potts will provide a spark at running back, and will be helped by the presence of 6-foot-4 lineman
Trystan Castillo. Early games against Rockhurst and Har-Ber are intriguing early-season showdowns.

Christian Brothers outscored opponents by a stunning margin of 750-135 en route to a state title in Missouri's largest classification. It was a truly dominant effort. Many key pieces have graduated, but Christian Brothers should have some able-bodied replacements, including running back
Tre Bryant and receiver
Roddrick Bryant. Having quarterback
Blake Charlton back is another big piece to the puzzle. The team's biggest question marks lie in the trenches.

2014 finish: 12-2
Team previewThough T.J. Green (son of former NFL quarterback Trent Green) is gone, Rockhurst is poised for another run at a state title. Of course, it's helpful to have 300-game winner Tony Severino calling the shots. The Kansas City power will lean on running back
A.J. Taylor, a Wisconsin commit, to shoulder most of the offensive load. He'll run behind a line that features
Brendan McConnell and
Claudio Martin.

2014 finish: 11-1
Team previewFort Osage raced to an 11-0 record last fall before a one-point playoff loss to Park Hill ended the team's season. This year, the bar is set much higher, with the return of star quarterback
Skylar Thompson. The 6-foot-3 senior is lethal with his arms and his legs, throwing for 2,385 yards and rushing for another 461. He'll need to build on those numbers if Fort Osage is to make it deeper into the playoffs.

2014 finish: 12-1
Park Hill made enormous progress in head coach Josh Hood's second season, leaping from a 3-7 record to a 12-1 finish. Following a 1,400-yard campaign, running back
Matt Harris returns and will be a focal point of an offense that is inexperienced behind center. Whoever wins the job will have the luxury of being able to target 6-5 receiver
Kentrez Bell, whose workload should increase. On defense, Jamaal Brazil will be missed, but
Chester Graves, who made 15 sacks as a sophomore, is one of the state's best.
