The 6-foot-2, 195-pound senior quarterback completed 35 of 45 passes for an outstanding 542 yards and eight touchdowns as
Kenton (Ohio) steamrolled Van Wert (Ohio), 66-13. The margin was 52-0 at halftime and the Wildcats did not score in the fourth quarter.
His older brother, Ben Mauk, holds the national career passing record with 17,364 yards from 1999-2002.
Maty also averaged an impressive 10.2 yards on the ground with 102 yards on 10 carries.
Receiver
Justin Sawmiller was the major recipient with 13 catches for 217 yards and five touchdowns.
The Wildcats, who had a total offense of 731 yards, are off to a 3-0 start in the young season.
