Sophomore girl may have delivered first dunk in Colorado history.Francesca Belibi of
Regis Jesuit (Aurora, Colo.) did something pretty amazing for a 15-year-old girl on Friday night.
The 6-foot-1 sophomore stole a pass and somewhat effortlessly hammered it home for a dunk. The slam is believed to be the first for a girl in Colorado state history.
Belibi posted 21 points and 15 rebounds to spur the Raiders to a 78-23 victory over Grand Junction. She is averaging 18.0 points, 7.6 rebounds and 3.4 blocked shots per game on the season.
The talented recruit has only been playing the sport for two years and is already being recruited by high-profile programs such as Notre Dame, Oregon State, Stanford and UConn.
