Team preview
Winslow has captured two consecutive Maine Class C state titles and is riding an impressive 22-game winning streak. It will be tough to knock the gritty Black Raiders off the Class C throne with 32-year head coach Mike Siviski at the helm. Sept. 17 marks a colossal clash with Mount Desert Island, a playoff rematch from last season.

Team previewPortland ended last season with a crushing loss in the Maine Class A state title game to Thornton Academy. But the Bulldogs return a stout defense and have revenge on their minds. Portland brings back arguably the top defense in the state. Expect all-state second team linebacker

Team previewFalmouth completed last season with a tough loss to Marshwood in the Maine Class B region final. But the Yachtsmen are a consistently battle-tested bunch, and are hungry for redemption. Oct. 14 is the date Falmouth has been waiting for, a rematch with Marshwood to settle the score.
