See the action from a match between Marian and Papillion-LaVista South last seasonPapillion-LaVista South full-rotation senior Raegan LeGrand and Omaha Marian Libero Brittany Witt, the lone returning Nebraska prep volleyball players to land on every first-team all-state and super-state team imaginable a year ago, head up another strong Cornhusker State volleyball class.

A Southern Cal commit, LeGrand began her prep career as a libero for the national champion Titans in 2012. But as of late, LeGrand is just as comfortable, and potent, swinging her arm. The 5-foot-11 outside hitter's stat line included 829 kills and 650 digs collectively as a sophomore and as a junior.
Witt, who is headed to her hometown Creighton University at the conclusion of her prep career, has already produced 1,860 digs and 1,623 serve receptions going into the final season of her high school career. A year ago, the 5-7 senior reestablished Class A state records with 738 digs in a season, 44 digs in a match and a per-match average of 16.77 digs.
With a ton of talent returning to Crusader coach Rochelle Rohlfs' roster, Witt will attempt to lead the Crusaders to a third-straight Class A state title in 2015.
Known as a tremendous supplier of volleyball talent to the nation's colleges and universities, the Cornhusker State has a long list of names looking to add plenty more postseason honors and eye-popping numbers to their already impressive legacies.
Rounding out our Top 5 are Colorado State recruit Olivia Nicholson of North Platte, Lincoln North Star's Sarah Allick and defending Class A runner-up Papillion-LaVista senior Katie Stephens. The second 5 includes Wahoo sophomore Kinsley Tingelhoff, who a year ago set Class C1 state records with a 30.92 per match average in assists, 64 assists in one match and 1,113 assists in a season.
Should Tingelhoff continue at the pace she established a year ago, she will shatter the Class A assists in a career record of 3,795 now held by Bellevue West's Ashley Petak. Tingelhoff is also on pace to at least challenge, if not break, the all-class mark of 4,511 assists in a career held by Lincoln Pius X's Lauren Cook.
The Omaha World Herald, Lincoln Journal Star and of course NebraskaPrepVolleyball.com were instrumental in putting together this list. Below you will find the Top 10 Nebraska volleyball players and their 2014 MaxPreps stat lines as well as any records that were established by them.
