Boozer averaged 21.1 points, 11.2 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 2.0 blocked shots per game to guide Columbus (26-4) to its second consecutive state title and the No. 8 spot in the final MaxPreps Top 25. Peat averaged 19.7 points, 9.4 rebounds and 3.0 assists per contest to guide the Pumas (30-1) to their second straight state crown and the No. 12 spot in the national rankings.

Harvard-Westlake finished the season ranked No. 6 in the final MaxPreps Top 25 last season after capturing the CIF Open Division state title with a record of 33-2. The Wolverines are led by third team MaxPreps Junior All-America selection

Mt. Spokane (Mead, Wash.) is the fourth out-of-state team participating in the event after reaching the Class 3A state semifinals in Washington and finishing with a record of 25-2 last season.
