The 6-foot-3, 195-pounder set the following records, which date to 1988 when the state went to four classifications: total offense (601 yards), total touchdowns (seven), passing yards (418) and points (42). His five touchdown passes tied the playoff record.
He rushed for 183 yards and scored twice to account for all seven of the Vikings' touchdowns.
The Allentown Morning Call also noted that the standout junior already has set career school records with 5,204 passing yards and 2,729 rushing yards.
Named the state's Gatorade Player of the Year, Nosovitch already is being recruited by such colleges as Pitt, Penn State, Boston College and Rutgers.
He will lead his 15-0 team into the state-title game against
Bishop McDevitt (Harrisburg, Pa.) on Friday at Hershey Park Stadium.
