Parkland (Allentown, Pa.) came into Saturday's contest ranked No. 1 in Pennsylvania, but was stunned by
St. Joseph's Prep (Philadelphia, Pa.), 21-10. St. Joseph's Prep was ranked at No. 4 in the MaxPreps Freeman Rankings for Pennsylvania coming into the week.
After taking the lead on a touchdown in the first quarter, the Hawks led 20-4 at the half.
The loss snapped Parkland's 11-game winning streak.
Parkland's only touchdown came on a 9-yard pass from
Devante Cross to
Jarey Elder in the fourth quarter.
St. Joseph's Prep entered the contest giving up 20.2 points per game this year.
