The biggest upset of the week belonged to Sacred Heart Prep, who took down 179th ranked Menlo-Atherton, 15-12. Mitch Martella caught 10 passes for 85 yards in the win.
The Gators moved up to 172 from 214 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Peninsula - Bay. Sacred Heart Prep was able to move up by beating the Bears 15-12.
Terra Nova's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Anthony Gordon threw for 357 and 5 touchdowns and Jaylen Jones had 133 yards receiving. On the ground John Wallace chipped in 151 yards. Domenic Ortisi helped Terra Nova's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 101 yards.
JR Hardy was a key player and the best on defense this week as Pete Lavorato's team bested Menlo-Atherton. The 6-foot-0 junior forced 1 fumble.
Jones was the best wideout in the league this week as the Tigers defeated South San Francisco. Jones racked up 4 receptions for 133 yards. Ortisi helped Terra Nova's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 101 yards.
