Video: Preseason #25 - SaguaroSince 2011, Saguaro has won four state titles in four championship game appearances, had one undefeated season and finished in the Top 10 of the final state rankings in four of the five seasons.
Our data suggests that Saguaro's level of success and consistency during that span is unmatched by any team in the state of Arizona.
We've developed a points system to determine which teams stand out among them all and Saguaro is the big winner with 174 points.
Here is how the points break down:
1. 20 for a state title
2. 10 for state championship game appearance
3. Other points are based on where a team finished in the final
MaxPreps Arizona Football Computer Rankings presented by the Army National Guard.
For example, if a team finished No. 1 overall, it would receive 25 points. If it finished 25th overall, the team would get one point. No points are awarded if the team did not finish in the Top 25.
