They put the hurt on Glendale Prep Academy with a sharp 51-26 victory on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Arizona Lutheran Academy also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2022.
When it comes to explaining why Glendale Prep Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Maddie Caspers. Despite the final result, she scored nine points along with three steals. Caspers scored a full 34.6% of Glendale Prep Academy's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Arizona Lutheran Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Glendale Prep Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 10-1.

Odyssey Institute will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings (they are ranked 223rd, while Arizona Lutheran Academy is ranked 96th). Glendale Prep Academy and Horizon Honors will round out the year against one another at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday at. Horizon Honors is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
