Corner Canyon (Draper) has looked virtually untouchable all season long, winning its first eight games by an average margin of 34 points. But Friday at Skyridge (Lehi), the Chargers found themselves down by double digits in the fourth quarter.
Ranked No. 11 nationally this week by MaxPreps, Corner Canyon rallied to beat Skyridge 29-26 and extend its overall win streak to 35 straight games heading into the final week of the regular season. The Chargers will head into the postseason with another tough test Wednesday against 7-2 American Fork.
Salem Hills (7-1) was among the big movers in this week's rankings following a 21-0 win over Wasatch (Heber City). The Skyhawks have been tough on defense all season, limiting five of their eight opponents to 10 points or less.
