The Interlake Saints will take on the Inglemoor Vikings at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Interlake has struggled recently with six losses in a row, while Inglemoor will arrive with 11 straight victories.
On Monday, Interlake came up short against Bellevue and fell 7-4.
Sam Haufe was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Diaz, who went 3-for-4 with one run and one double.
Meanwhile, Inglemoor put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Highline an 11-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won five matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Graysen Holes looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Aiden Tsu, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Conor Sullivan was another key player, earning two runs and three stolen bases.
Inglemoor hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least three batters in five consecutive contests.
Interlake's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Inglemoor, their win bumped their record up to 12-4.
Interlake came up short against Inglemoor in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, falling 8-4. Can the Saints avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
