After having only one team control the No. 1 spot for most of the season, the MaxPreps midwest region football computer rankings have a new No. 1 team for the second time in two weeks.
With Wayne falling to Pickerington Central in the Ohio Division I playoffs, Center Grove moved up to the No. 1 spot. Wayne fell to No. 5.
Colerain, which had been No. 1 most of the season, rose to No. 2 despite being eliminated from postseason play.
The regional rankings are based on the MaxPreps National Football Computer Rankings, presented by the Army National Guard. The Midwest region includes teams from Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Kansas, Wisconsin, Nebraska and North and South Dakota.
