The University Interscholastic League Texas high school girls basketball state tournaments begin this week.
The finals will be held March 4 with The Alamodome in San Antonio serving as the host site for all six classes.
Defending
champions include Ackerly Sands (1A), Gruver (2A), Fairfield (3A), Brownsboro (4A), Cedar Park (5A) and DeSoto (6A).
