No. 10 Del Oro takes on national power De La Salle (Concord) on Friday. The Spartans are coming off a 40-13 rout of previous No. 2 St. Mary's (Stockton). All told, De La Salle is 33-0 lifetime against the Sac-Joaquin Section, 240-0-2 against Northern California teams since 1991 and 321-5-2 against NorCal competition since 1984.

6. (2) St. Mary's (Stockton) (2-1)The Rams fell hard to national power De La Salle (Concord), 40-13, despite having the ball for 10 more minutes and gaining more first downs. But four turnovers hurt, none more than a 97-yard interception return for a score that made it 21-0. It was 33-0 before the Rams scored.
Kaleb Parrish was intercepted three times while passing for 212 yards.

7. (7) Granite Bay (1-1)The Grizzlies beat Freedom (Oakley) 47-20 as
Tony Ellison rushed for four touchdowns.

The Titans lost to No. 5 Grant (Sacramento), 28-14, in a great rivalry series that showcases city football at its best.
Ernest Jenkins scored on runs of 61 and 69 yards for Burbank, expected to roll to another Metropolitan Conference title.

13. (13) Central Catholic (Modesto) (2-1)The Raiders beat McClymonds (Oakland) 38-24 in a rematch of the NorCal D-III title game, also won by Central Catholic.
