Horizon Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Quinn Yoder, who scored 11 points along with 7 steals and 5 rebounds. The contest was Yoder's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lawrence Long, who scored 14 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals.
The victory got Indianapolis Northwest W back to even at 2-2. As for Horizon Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-2.
Indianapolis Northwest W will be playing in front of their home fans against Indianapolis HomeSchool Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Indianapolis HomeSchool Wildcats is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Horizon Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Calvary Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
