The Knights' record includes two forfeit losses of games they won on the court and one win via forfeit. They dominated the SDS Division II bracket and dropped a heartbreaker to Etiwanda by one point in the opening round of the regional playoffs. This season they return former Arizona commit and reigning San Diego Section Player of the Year
T.J. Leaf, who scored 27.4 points and pulled down 14.2 rebounds per game as a 6-foot-10 forward. Another senior, 6-4 guard
Luis Salgado, is back after scoring 12.4 points per game.
Nikko Paranada is a 5-11 senior guard who tallied 11.7 points and 4.2 assists per game last year.

The Saints pulled off a shocker by winning the SDS Open Division as a No. 6 seed, then lost to Bishop Montgomery (Torrance) in the regional playoff opener. This season they return all-section first team guard
Eric Monroe and second-team choice
Martin Tombe. With that talent coming back, the Saints' path to a repeat should come with a higher seed - and nobody overlooking them.

The Cougars won the Division I section title but were passed up for the state playoffs. They bring back second team all-section big man
Keegan Cummins (6-10) and he should be a force down low for his senior year. It was a junior-heavy squad last season, with seven 11th-graders on the roster. That experience should have the Cougars competing at a high level once again.

The Falcons reached the Division I regional semifinals after a second-place finish in the SDS Open Division bracket. Replacing two all-section players will make the road back to that promised land a lot tougher, and nobody who averaged more than 8.7 points per game returns.
Jackson Strong (6-3 guard) has the best stats of anybody coming back.

The Tigers were the top seed in Division I but fell to Escondido in the section title game. It's been reported that all-section center Brandon McCoy has transferred to Cathedral Catholic for his junior season and that will hit this team hard if it's true. Senior guard
Justin Davis (6-5) is entering his fourth varsity campaign after averaging 18.8 and 11.3 rebounds points per game.
