Ezavier Crowell of
Jackson (Ala.) broke the Class 4A state championship game record Friday by rushing for 304 yards to go along with five touchdowns in a 52-0 win over Anniston.
Crowell is rated as the No. 2 running back in the Class of 2026 and fielded more than 30 FBS offers before deciding on the in-state Crimson Tide.
The victory gave Jackson its second straight state championship. Jackson started the scoring with a rushing touchdown in the first quarter followed by two in the second quarter. His final two scores were in the third quarter.

In last year's state title game Crowell rushed for three touchdowns.
This championship game performance caps an epic playoff run for Crowell, who rushed for 230 yards and two touchdowns in the semifinals against St. Michael Catholic. In a second round win over Handley, he rushed for 350 yards.
Crowell rushed for 2,628 rushing yards and 35 touchdowns on 209 carries this season. In his three-year career, he tallied 6,329 yards and 91 touchdowns on the ground.
