Hayden Hamby of West Morgan (Trinity, Ala.) scored the 3,000th point of her career last week. The 5-7 standout has started since she was in eighth grade.
* Princeton (Cincinnati) is unbeaten with a pair of freshmen making waves.
Kelsey Mitchell, a 5-7 guard, is averaging 18 points, four assists and three steals, while her 5-10 twin sister,
Chelsea Mitchell, is averaging six points as a key substitute. They honed their skills going against twin brothers Cameron and Kevin, who now play for Walsh University. Their father, Mark Mitchell, is the head boys basketball coach at Taft (Cincinnati, Ohio).
