High school football: Top 10 tight ends heading into 2026 season

Ahmad Hudson, Jaxon Dollar and Seneca Driver headline the list.

Ahead of the 2026 high school football season, we have already looked at the nation's top quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers. 

Next up are the tight ends. 

Ahmad Hudson of Ruston (La.), Jaxon Dollar of East Lincoln (Denver, N.C.) and Seneca Driver of Boyle County (Danville, Ky.) headline the list. 

Hudson is a two-sport standout and was the only player in the country to be named a MaxPreps Junior All-American in both football and basketball.


Driver led Boyle County to a Class 4A state title after making a huge impact on both sides of the ball. The Rebels begin the season as one of two teams ranked in our expanded top 100 from Kentucky.
