State record breakers were the norm in this week's list of national high school football stat stars with state marks falling in Nebraska and Missouri.
Jaylin Bradley of Bellevue West (Bellevue, Neb.) broke the state record for rushing yardage in an 11-man game as he ran for 496 yards and seven touchdowns in a 63-42 win over Millard West (Omaha).
Meanwhile in Missouri, Alex Huston of Glendale (Springfield, Mo.) broke his own state record for passing yardage in a game with 706 yards in an 85-44 playoff win over Ozark. Huston's previous record was 625 yards.
In Lincolnton (N.C.), Sage Surratt's four-year career came to an end with a career-best 296 yards receiving on 14 catches in a 65-47 loss to Maiden (N.C.). Surratt concludes his career with 310 catches for 5,008 yards and 63 touchdowns. His reception and yardage totals rank No. 1 in state history.
