Adding to the longest winning streak in Central Suburban - South this week, Maine South beat Oak Park-River Forest 34-21. This was the team's ninth consecutive win.
Maine South led the league in scoring this week after putting up 34 points on the Huskies.
6-foot-1 quarterback Tommy Galanopolous of Niles West is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,645. He has also thrown 14 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Spencer Cotten. The New Trier star has 30 catches for 461 yards.
Evanston made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,834 from 4,003.
