Strengths: The Fighting Irish return four starters from a team that suffered a heartbreaking overtime loss in the section semifinals last season to
Roncalli (Indianapolis) – a squad it rocked by 22 points a few weeks prior. That disappointment fueled an unbeaten run through summer competition. Hartman and Coleman – a top sophomore nationally – averaged in double figures a year ago while Evans posted more than eight points and five assists per game.
Question marks: Teams in Indiana don't have much of an opportunity to test themselves against out-of-state competition. That means Cathedral's margin for error is miniscule if it wants to remain in the national rankings.
