Prospect Report Card
High school record/path: Spent just three seasons in high school after reclassifying to skip his sophomore season. Dybantsa played at St. Sebastian's as a freshman before transferring to Prolific Prep for his junior year and moving to Utah Prep as a senior. His most successful season was during his junior year at Prolific Prep when he led the team to a record of 33-6 and the No. 4 spot in the National Top 10.
Stats/accomplishments: Averaged 28.6 points, 9.5 rebounds and 3.6 assists per contest as a senior after transferring to Utah Prep for his final season. Earned second team MaxPreps All-America honors as a junior and senior.
Outstanding achievement: Exploded for 49 points in an 88-86 loss to his former team Prolific Prep and also earned MVP honors at the 'Iolani Classic during his senior campaign.
Needs work: Although he is an elite athlete and scorer, Dybantsa still needs to round out his game by improving the consistency of his 3-point shooting and facilitating. The likely No. 1 overall pick has also struggled to consistently lead his team to wins in big games over the past two years.
Best fit/likely landing spot: Likely bound for the Washington Wizards with the top overall pick, Dybantsa should fit in well alongside All-Star point guard Trae Young and a youthful cast that could challenge for a playoff spot immediately in the Eastern Conference.
