In a 20-15 victory over Yucca Valley, Montoya was a monster defensively, combining for 22 tackles including seven solo tackles, 15 assists and one sack.
Through six games this season, Montoya has totaled 19 solo tackles, 59 assists and three sacks.
Coachella Valley will face off next against Twentynine Palms this Friday, Oct. 3.
