NEPSAC, high school hockey players in 2016 NHL Draft

Riley Tufte of Blaine (Minn.) is selected in the 1st Round (25th overall) by Dallas. Kimball Union (NH) has its sixth player in three years drafted when Ben Finkelstein goes in the 7th Round to Florida.

Former Taft School star Ross Colton of Cedar Rapids (USHL) was born in Robbinsville, N.J. He went to Tampa Bay in the fourth round, and is signed with Vermont. Taft also produced Montreal Canadiens captain Max Pacioretty.
