Since his decision to re-open his recruitment, Alonso (Tampa) defensive lineman
Anthony Chickillo has seen his high stock rise higher. And that figures to get a little more frenzied after his performance at the
Under Armour All-American Bowl.

Playing amongst some of the best 75 or so high school football players in the nation, Chickillo stood out. The 6-foot-3, 230-pound defensive end registered four tackles, one and a half sacks and recovered a fumble to help Team Click Clack to a 24-22 win against Team Micro G.
Chickillo was named Team Click-Clack MVP.
Team Click Clack got a last-second 23-yield field goal from Exeter Township (Reading, Pa.) kicker
Taylor Bertolet (a Texas A&M recruit) to secure the win in front of 23,000 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg. Former NFL coaches Steve Mariucci (Team Click Clack) and Mike Ditka (Team Micro G) served as coaches in the all-star game.
Chickillo played well as he lined up with South Pointe (Rock Hill, S.C.) lineman
Jadeveon Clowney, considered by many services as one of the top few college prospects in the country. Clowney remains undecided.
Chickillo, meanwhile, verbally committed to Miami during the season but re-thought that option when coach Randy Shannon was fired Nov. 28. Since then, Chickillo turned his attention to Florida, only to see coach Urban Meyer step down in early December.
Chickillo, who registered 18 sacks during his senior season, remains a target of North Carolina, South Florida, Florida and Florida State and he still plans to take an official visit to Miami. Chickillo's father and grandfather both played at Miami.
Nature Coast (Brooksville, Fl.) wide receiver
Ja'Juan Story,
a Florida commit, was the only other Tampa Bay area player to play in the game.
Story and other Bay area commits are examining their college commitments in the wake of recent college coaching moves.
Story said he has not de-committed from Florida but is looking at his options. Plant (Tampa) offensive tackle
Tony Posada is watching and waiting on the Michigan situation after coach Rich Rodriguez was fired this week. Posada had verbally committed to the Wolverines last Fall.
But Alonso defensive back
Tyree Clark remains a firm commit to Connecticut, despite the recent move by UConn coach Randy Edsall to Maryland.
In other Bay area recruiting news, Spoto (Riverview) quarterback-safety
Nick Addison is backing away from his verbal commitment to Division I-AA Bethune Cookman (Daytona Beach, Fla.). Addison is being looked at heavily by New Mexico.
Also, recruiting has picked up for Jefferson (Tampa) linebacker
Ramik Wilson (Florida, Georgia, Southern Cal and Texas Tech) and Hillsborough (Tampa) junior defensive lineman
Earl Moore (Texas Tech, USC).
And King defensive end-linebacker
John Kelley has verbally committed to Division II Henderson State (Ark).
