Video: High school highlights of Nick Bosa Watch the top five plays in the illustrious prep career of the 49ers defensive end.
Nick Bosa was the No. 2 recruit from Florida out of
St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale) in the Class of 2016 — No. 8 overall in the nation according to
247Sports. He starred at Ohio State in college and was the No. 2 pick in the 2019 NFL draft, going to the San Francisco 49ers.
On Feb. 2, he figures to be the No. 1 pain in Patrick Mahomes' side when his 49ers take on Kansas City in Super Bowl LIV at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium — a few miles where Bosa starred in high school.
He's had a brilliant rookie season, was named the October NFC Defensive Player of the Month, recorded 57 tackles and 12 sacks in 18 games (including playoffs) and is the odds-on choice to be the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year, if not the overall Defensive Player of the Year.
As a prep, he was a four-year starter — no small feat — for the Raiders, one of the nation's top programs. He had 10 sacks as a sophomore and six as a senior. Watch above five of his top plays while at St. Thomas Aquinas.
