One of the most prolific scorers in West Virginia high school basketball history will participate in the National High School Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships in Houston.
Chase Fischer, a 6-foot-4 senior from
Ripley High School, will bring his deadly outside shot to the event scheduled for April 1 at the Berry Center in Cypress. The Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships will be broadcast Sunday, April 3 (4:30-6 p.m. CT) on CBS Sports with numerous encore showings on CBS College Sports.

Chase Fischer, Ripley (W.Va.)
Fischer, who signed with Wake Forest last November, averaged 37.0 points, 6.7 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game for the Vikings this season. He topped the 50-point mark three times, including a 58-point outburst in his senior debut against St. Albans.
The future Demon Deacon drilled 141 3-pointers in just 24 games this winter and connected on over 80 percent of his free throw attempts.
Fischer finished his high school career with 2,215 points, good for 10th all-time in the state of West Virginia.
