6A District 15 recap October 8, 2013
Hallandale added to the longest winning streak in 6A District 15 this week by beating Archbishop McCarthy, 64-0. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
Coconut Creek and Suncoast played the most contested game in the league this week, with Coconut Creek eventually emerging with a 20-19 victory.
Stranahan's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver.
The Cougars' Jhakari Harrison and Erin Alexander led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback Harrison has thrown for 1,219 yards this season, while Alexander has 15 catches for 374 yards. Lamar Jackson from Boynton Beach leads the league in rushing with 359 yards.
A big matchup in 6A District 15 this week will be when Dillard takes on the Tigers. As it stands, the Panthers are in third, while Boynton Beach is in second.
Hallandale took down the Mavericks 64-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
