The nation's premier sprinter,
Marvin Bracy, committed to Florida State University this week for football and track, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

He said that Texas A&M was his second choice, with Florida and LSU also in the picture.
Last fall the 5-foot-10, 165-pounder accounted for 1,492 yards and 10 touchdowns as a junior wide receiver and kick returner at Boone (Orlando, Fla.).
Bracy followed up his junior football season this spring by running the nation's fastest 100 meters (10.28 seconds). He also won the state title in the 100, 200 and anchored the winning 4x100 relay team.
At the U.S. Junior Nationals in Oregon, Bracy ran a remarkable 10.05 in the 100 but it was slightly wind-aided at 2.2-meters-per-second.
FSU was the first college to offer him a scholarship, before his sophomore year. However, he said that Miami had been No. 1 on his list for a long time until he watched the great job done last fall by new coach Jimbo Fisher.
Marvin Bracy was the nation's No. 1 sprinter as a junior.
