Every training program should incorporate all three planes of motion.
The planes of motion include:
Frontal Plane - movement from side to side
Sagittal Plane - movement forward and back
Transverse Plane - movement while turning
All three planes of motion work simultaneously. Each plane can be worked individually to improve performance in that plane.
