Nick Gerber, Sr., Levelland 1,646Gerber threw for 384 yards to lead the Lobos to a 77-31 win over Brownfield on Sept. 16. He had a season-high 549 yards in Week 3 and is averaging 411.5 yards per game. He also leads the state with 30 touchdown passes.
Justin Gomez, Jr., Jones (Beeville) 1,628Despite throwing for 416 yards, Gomez's team fell to Sinton 55-45 on Sept. 16. Gomez has been lighting it up all season in throwing for 407 yards per game.
Grant Gunnell, So., St. Pius X (Houston) 1,587Only a sophomore, Gunnell has impressed early in the season with a touchdown-to-interception rate of 7-to-1. He threw for 325 yards in helping the Panthers beat Chavez 61-20 on Sept. 17.
Aaron Brown, Jr., Gilmer 1,565Brown isn't letting his 5-foot-6 frame slow him down in the pocket. The junior has led the Buckeyes to a 3-1 record despite falling to Carthage 55-37 on Sept. 17. Brown threw for 361 yards in the loss.
Rushing yardsDeion Hankins, So., Parkland (El Paso) 1,082Hankins ran 41 times for a season-high 338 yards and four touchdowns in a 37-27 victory over Bel Air on Sept. 16. He is averaging 270.5 yards on the ground per game.
Mark Adams, Sr., New Deal 988On Sept. 16 against Sunray, Adams had 19 carries for 411 yards and five touchdowns. He is averaging an astounding 14.7 yards per carry this season.
Nick Ward, Sr., University (Waco) 865Ward is coming off his best game of the season, a 35-carry, 293-yard performance as his team lost to Ellison 54-27 on Sept. 15. He's scored eight touchdowns in the last two games.
Cade Twyford, Sr., Farmersville 796Twyford had 15 runs for 160 yards in a 28-18 victory over Caddo Mills on Sept. 16. The previous week, he rushed for four touchdowns as the Farmers remain undefeated.
Trevon Bradley, Sr., Cleburne 783The Yellowjackets' offense has been explosive this season and Bradley is a big reason why. The quarterback ran for 316 yards and three scores in a 62-49 win over North Crowley on Sept. 9.

Receiving yardsBraxton Ashcraft, Jr., Robinson 992Ashcraft has 35 catches this season and 18 have gone for touchdowns. In his team's last game against Athens on Sept. 16, Ashcraft had six receptions for 249 yards and six scores.
Waydale Jones, Sr., Jones (Beeville) 810Jones has been a beast on the outside for Jones. He's been quarterback Justin Gomez's prime target with 11 scores. He had 166 receiving yards and four touchdowns in a win over Sinton on Sept. 16.
E.J. Garcia, Jr., Pecos 784Garcia is coming off a game against Fabens where he caught seven balls for 137 yards and two touchdowns in the Eagles' 68-22 win on Sept. 16.
Erik Ezukanma, Jr., Timber Creek (Fort Worth) 747Ezukanma was tough to stop in the Falcons' 37-28 loss to Denton on Sept. 15. He had 12 receptions for 255 yards and three touchdowns.
Judah Bell, Sr., Bishop Gorman (Tyler) 735In a game earlier this season, Bell had 16 catches for 376 yards and five touchdowns. He is averaging 245 yards per game.
Total touchdowns (non-passing scores)Braxton Ashcraft, Jr., Robinson 18All of Ashcraft's 18 touchdowns have been through the air. He had a season-high seven touchdown catches in his team's season-opening victory over Taylor.
Kobe Hailey, Sr., Frost 16The quarterback has 16 touchdowns on the ground, four in each of his team's four games. He is averaging 13.8 yards per carry.
Mark Adams, Sr., New Deal 16Adams is a do-everything kind of player. He has nine rushing scores, three receiving, three punt return and one kickoff. He's a threat to score every time he touches the ball.
Trevon Bradley, Sr., Cleburne 15Bradley has 11 rushing touchdowns to go with his 11 passing touchdowns this season. He's accounted for seven total scores in a game twice this season.
Abram Smith, Sr., Abilene 13All 13 of Smith's touchdowns are on the ground. In his team's 55-38 victory over Cooper on Sept. 9, he had seven scores.
