The Rockwell Marshals had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.3 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Thursday. They really took it to Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams for the full four quarters, racking up a 74-45 victory on the road. With Rockwell ahead 45-21 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Rockwell was led to victory by Luke Henderson and Roman Haueter. Henderson dropped a double-double on 22 points and 13 rebounds, while Haueter almost dropped a triple-double on 24 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists. Henderson has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 12 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Micah Shattuck, who scored eight points.
Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Andre Loya, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Alex Rosales was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Rockwell is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rockwell won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Dugway at 7:00 p.m. on January 12th.
