After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ninety Six, the Ware Shoals Hornets were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They breezed by South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind on the road to the tune of 56-10. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Ware Shoals also won the last time the pair played back in February.
Ware Shoals' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jasir Farhan, who scored 11 points. Those 11 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Brayden Medlin, who scored 12 points.
The victory got Ware Shoals back to even at 4-4. As for South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ware Shoals will take on Chester at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on McCormick at 6:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
