PALM SPRINGS, Calif. — Chino Hills (Calif.) senior
Lonzo Ball was the unanimous selection as the Most Valuable Player of the Open Division of the 2015 MaxPreps Holiday Classic.

Ball led the Huskies (13-0), the nation's No. 1 team, to four straight victories in the loaded 16-team field, including Wednesday's 96-80 win over Redondo Union in Wednesday's championship game at
Rancho Mirage (Calif.).
The 6-foot-6 senior point guard had 33 points, 12 assists and five rebounds. The UCLA-signee was coming off MVP honors at the City of Palms Classic in Florida, where the Huskies also won the championship.

LiAngelo Ball earned first-team top Open Division honors, and teammate
Elizjah Scott earned second-team honors.
