The Huskies snapped their seven-game skid against the Monarchs in the regular season with a 43-36 win. They jumped out to a 28-0 lead and went into halftime up 33-7. Mater Dei stormed back in the third quarter scoring 29 unanswered points to take a 36-33 lead but Centennial responded scoring the final 10 points. This was the first win for Centennial over Mater Dei since 2015.
Orange Lutheran pulled off one of the biggest upsets in California state postseason history with a 20-19 win over
St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.) last week. Santa Margarita handed
Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, Calif.) its first loss of the season with a 21-9 win. These two met during the regular season and the Eagles rolled to a 28-7 victory.

McCallie (Chattanooga).
Junior five-star running back
David Gabriel-Georges had a career day with seven rushing touchdowns, including an 85-yard score. He went over 400 on the night.
The game was tied 35-35 before Gabriel-Georges helped Baylor pull away.
Ca'si Thomas had two rushing touchdowns for Don Bosco Prep while quarterback
Carson Schoen passed for a score. Defensively the Ironmen also dominated as
Kane Ramos had an interception and
Mikahi Allen returned a fumble for a touchdown.

De La Salle (Concord, Calif.) seeks its 33rd straight North Coast Section crown as the Spartans face
Pittsburg (Calif.) on Friday. De La Salle has won 34 in a row against the Pirates who look for their first win in the series since 1991. A win for the Spartans clinches a spot in the CIF Open Division state championship game on Dec. 13.

Gonzaga (Washington, D.C.). They square off on Sunday at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. The last time these two played in the WCAC championship game was in 2018 when
Caleb Williams led the Eagles to a wild 46-43 win as a sophomore.
