The Illinois Math & Science Academy Titans won the last time they faced the LaMoille Lions, and things went their way on Friday too. Illinois Math & Science Academy walked away with a 56-49 victory over LaMoille.
LaMoille's loss came despite strong showings from Tyler Billhorn and Brayden Klein. Billhorn dropped a double-double on 27 points and ten rebounds, while Klein scored 15 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Klein has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times he's played.
Illinois Math & Science Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-18. As for LaMoille, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-19.
Illinois Math & Science Academy will head out on the road to square off against Newark at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for LaMoille, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 64-29 loss vs. Dakota on the 10th.
