That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of East New York Family Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Zakiyah Zimmerman, who scored 13 points along with eight steals and six rebounds.
East New York Family Academy's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.5 points per game. As for New Utrecht, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
East New York Family Academy will look to defend their home court on Monday against Brooklyn Tech at 4:30 p.m. Brooklyn Tech will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 345th, while East New York Family Academy is ranked 72nd). As for New Utrecht, they will head out on the road to face off against Midwood at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
