Treon Harris threw two touchdowns and ran for three more as
Washington (Miami, Fla.) upset
Bolles (Jacksonville, Fla.) 35-7 on Saturday.
The Tornadoes were up 13-7 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown pass by Harris to
Deltron Hopkins in the first quarter.
Washington expanded its lead to 28 points entering the fourth quarter. WHS scored four times in the third, including once on a Harris touchdown pass to
Karim Bryant.
The loss snapped the Bulldogs' 9-game winning streak.
Colby Peters played well for Bolles. The senior quarterback threw one touchdown.
BHS's lone touchdown came on a 7-yard pass from Peters to
Arterrious Mitchell in the second quarter.
The Miami school had given up an average of 10.8 points prior to the contest.
The Tornadoes got revenge for last year's 33-25 loss to the Jacksonville school with the victory.
The loss comes after Bolles defeated Yulee 45-35 last week.
