The leading scoring in high school basketball resides in the state of Alabama as four-star point guard
Labaron Philon is lighting it up to the tune of 42.4 points per contest through eight games this season for
Baker (Mobile).
The 6-foot-4 junior is regarded as the No. 40 prospect in the Class of 2024 with offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Kansas, LSU, Mississippi and South Alabama.

As a sophomore, Philon earned Class 7A Player of the Year honors after averaging 24.4 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists to help the Hornets advance to the state championship game.
Along with nearly doubling his scoring average, the star junior is also tallying 5.5 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 3.6 steals to lead Baker to a record of 6-2 so far this season.

Philon recently broke the record for most points in a game at the Lighthouse Classic with 47. He put up a season-high 51 points in a 74-71 victory over Benjamin Russell (Alexander City).
Last night Philon continued his torrid start by pouring in 43 points and knocking down the game-winning shot in a 68-67 victory over McGill-Toolen (Mobile).
