With its season complete and no remaining active team within 10 ratings points, IMG Academy will likely finiish the season as the No. 1 team in the MaxPreps south region football computer rankings.
IMG Academy, which is ineligible for the state playoffs in Florida, completed its season with a win last week. No. 2 DeMatha also won its final game to finish seven ratings points behind the Ascenders.
Grayson, No. 3 with 73.0 ratings points, is still active and is competing for the AAAAAAA state championship.
The regional rankings are based on the MaxPreps National Football Computer Rankings, presented by the Army National Guard. The South region includes teams from Florida, Tennessee, Maryland, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Washington D.C., Kentucky, Arkansas, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia.
