The 6-foot-7, 285-pound offensive lineman from
Lawrence (Kan.) picked Illinois State, but most on Twitter were just fascinated with his name.

According to
Chip Patterson of CBSSports, Buffalomeat quit football after his freshman season but then chewed on the decision. The football staff convinced him to come back to the gridiron his senior season and now he has his college education paid for.
He's currently a basketball player for Lawrence and has been so for all four seasons.
"He has some work to do in the weight room," Illinois State Recruiting Coordinator Lamar Conrad said. "We think he could be a very special player. You just can't coach that kind of size and attitude."
