It has been 10 years now that MaxPreps has put out football computer rankings, presented by the Army National Guard.
That's plenty of time to come up with a solid list of which programs have been the most dominant during the MaxPreps era.
For the purpose of the rankings, each team will be awarded points based off where it finished in the computer rankings after each season. For example, if a team finished No. 1 overall it receives 25 points. If the team finished No. 25 overall, it would get one point. A team also receives 30 points for winning a state title and 15 for being the runner-up.

Most dominant Idaho football programs in the MaxPreps era 1. Shelley - 292 pointsOverall record: 96-14
The Russets have piled up five 3A state championships and capped off three perfect seasons since 2004.
2. Coeur d'Alene - 284Overall record: 77-32
Over the past 10 years, Coeur d'Alene has seven Top 10 finishes, three of which were No. 1 finishes. The Vikings have also racked up three 5A state championships.
3. Blackfoot - 275Overall record: 85-27
Two perfect seasons have helped the Broncos collect two of their four 4A state championships over the past 10 seasons.
4. Fruitland - 266Overall record: 102-16
Fruitland has finished in the Top 25 every year since 2004. They have won two 3A state titles along the way and have six runner-up finishes.
5. Highland (Pocatello) - 262Overall record: 82-29
The Rams have notched eight Top 10 finishes in the past 10 years despite claiming just one 5A state championship. They have finished as runner-up three times.
6. Bishop Kelly (Boise) - 260Overall record: 86-22
Since 2004, Bishop Kelly has finished the season undefeated four times, each of those seasons accompanied by a 4A state championship trophy.
7. Capital (Boise) - 219Overall record: 81-27
Capital hasn't fallen outside of the Top 15 in the past 10 seasons despite not winning a state championship. They have fallen just short twice, finishing as the runner-up.
8. Eagle - 194Overall record: 75-30-1
2009 marked the best year for the Mustangs since 2004, winning a 5A state championship and finishing the year with the No. 1 ranking.
9. Pocatello - 180Overall record: 71-35
Since 2004 the Indians have missed the Top 25 only twice, becoming the 4A state championship victors in 2006.
10. Lake City (Coeur d'Alene) - 171Overall record: 65-40-1
Lake City finished with the top ranking in 2006, after a 5A state championship victory sealed the deal.
11. Meridian - 165Overall record: 55-45
The Warriors have claimed stake to two 5A state titles over the past 10 seasons, also finishing with the No. 1 rank in both of those years.
12. Centennial (Boise) - 154Overall record: 63-37
Nine Top 25 finishes in the past 10 years have proved Centennial is one of Idaho's best teams.
13. Mountain View (Meridian) - 151Overall record: 60-38
Mountain View has been in the Top 25 every year since 2005, reaching as high as No. 3 in 2009 although it is still seeking its first state title in the past 10 years.
14. Declo - 133Overall record: 81-26
Back-to-back 2A state titles helped the Hornets crack the Top 25 for the fourth and fifth times since 2004.
15. Firth - 129Overall record: 71-33
In the four years Firth has cracked the Top 25, it has been in three state championship games, emerging victorious in two and finishing as the runner-up in another.
16. Hillcrest (Idaho Falls) - 111Overall record: 45-52
Hillcrest's best season came in 2008, when it claimed a 4A state championship and finished with the No. 2 ranking.
17. West Side (Dayton) - 106Overall record: 84-22
The Pirates have twice been 2A state champions in the past 10 years.
18. Parma - 91Overall record: 48-47
In Parma's two appearances in the Top 25 it has won 2A state championships.
18. Post Falls - 91Overall record: 49-43
The Trojans have seven Top 25 finishes since 2004.
20. Madison (Rexburg) - 90Overall record: 54-41
Madison's undefeated season in 2012 assisted it in claiming a 5A state title.
