Perhaps the best among them was Derek Scott, Jr, who scored 12 points along with four steals. The game was Scott, Jr's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was DeQuan Jones, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds.
Lighthouse College Prep Academy struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
The victory makes it two in a row for Michigan City and bumps their season record up to 6-4. As for Lighthouse College Prep Academy, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-6.
Michigan City will take on Crown Point at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lighthouse College Prep Academy, they will take on Lincoln-King Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Lincoln-King Academy has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 1.
