It's certainly been a battle for the top spot this season and this week's MaxPreps Composite Top 25 Basketball Rankings bear that out.
La Lumiere (La Porte, Ind.) overtook McEachern (Powder Springs, Ga.) for the top spot in the MaxPreps Top 25 boys basketball rankings a few weeks back and the two have been nip and tuck for No. 1 ever since. This week's Composite rankings show it all even with the Lakers grabbing four of the six ranking service No. 1 nods, while they come back to the Indians in the MaxPreps Computer rankings.
Rest assured this isn't over and might not be settled until the GEICO Nationals at the end of March. Stay tuned.
