Norcross (Ga.) snapped
South Gwinnett (Snellville, Ga.)'s 4-game winning streak, with a 27-7 victory on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Myles Autry in the first quarter, the Blue Devils led 14-0 at the half.
Norcross expanded its lead to 20 points entering the fourth quarter. NHS's lone score in the quarter came on a
Alvin Kamara touchdown run.
With the win the Blue Devils extended their winning streak to 12 games. Norcross defeated the Cougars 34-7 last week.
Kamara was the top performer for NHS. The senior running back ran for three touchdowns. He has now scored 26 touchdowns on the season.
The Comets' lone touchdown came on an 11-yard pass in the fourth quarter.
The Blue Devils came into the game allowing 12.2 points per game.
The loss comes after South Gwinnett defeated Milton 27-20 last week.
