See the Small Schools All-American starring as a football player as well.Small Schools Player of the Year - Jac'cara Walker, P.K. Yonge (Gainesville, Fla.)The 5-foot-10 Walker, who has committed to Marshall, led P.K. Yonge to back-to-back state titles. As a senior she had 399 kills, 328 digs, 25 blocks, 165 service points and 21 aces. She was named Class 3A Player of the Year by Florida Dairy Farmers, Miss Florida Volleyball runner-up and was also the state's Gatorade State Player of the Year.
MaxPreps All-American honors are nothing new for Walker. She was also an overall All-American Team selection by MaxPreps this season, first-team Medium Schools All-American Team in 2014 (Yonge was 4A then, 3A now), MaxPreps Junior A-A in 2014, MaxPreps Medium School A-A in 2013 and MaxPreps Sophomore All-American in 2013.
Blue Wave coach Chad Davis told Gainesville.com that Walker is the best player he has coached.
"What makes her unique is she can affect a match offensively and defensively," said Davis. "She is the best player I have ever coached in 20 years of doing this, and one of the greatest players ever from this area."
Walker, who had a .580 kill percentage and a .449 hitting efficiency, is a two-time AAU national champion. She captured MVP honors in the 2015 AAU Girls' Junior National Volleyball Championships 17 Club division last summer.
"She has an incredible volleyball IQ and has the unique ability to affect a match both offensively and defensively with her overall skill set. I look forward to her continuing development as a player under the excellent teaching of coach Mitch Jacobs at Marshall," Davis told Gainesville.com.

Small Schools Team of Year - Morgan (Utah)In 2014, Morgan won 10 straight before losing the 3A title match to Snow Canyon, 3-2 (25-16, 25-15, 25-16, 15-13). This year, they swept Snow Canyon, 3-0, outscoring the Warriors 75-47 in the rematch.
The Trojans finished 32-0 and ranked 10th in the MaxPreps Xcellent 25 National Volleyball Rankings presented by the Army National Guard. They were led by senior all-Americans
Jaiden Farr (232 digs, 33 aces, 390 kills, .341 hitting percentage), setter
Jorry Randall (43 aces, 187 digs, 1,054 assists) and 3A all-state Defensive MVP
Aubrey Saunders (238 kills, 36 blocks, 43 aces).
In addition, the Trojans placed
Kennedy Wortman (287 service points) on the all-state second team and
Anna Cox (50.1 kill percentage) on the all-state third team. Farr, who will play collegiately for Pepperdine, was Utah's Miss Volleyball and also won the Gatorade State POY honor for Utah.
The Trojans, coached by Liz Wiscombe, lost just three sets out of 85 during their magical season. Among the teams they defeated were Idaho 5 state champion Idaho Falls (36-6), Utah 5A champion Lehi (25-7) and Utah 2A champion Delta (24-6). In Region 6 action, Morgan did not lose a set, and the Trojans won the Bingham Invitational and the Rocky Mountain Classic.
"This team was a good example of how to come out of adversity," coach Wiscombe was quoted as saying in the Morgan News. "They took their loss last year and made a pact to each other. It drove them so passionately. They didn't dwell on losing, but winning, and made a positive experience out of something hard."
It was Wiscombe's 12th state title at Morgan.
Small Schools Coach of the Year - Crysta Guhr, Goessel (Kan.) Led by Guhr, the Bluebirds (44-0) captured their first state 1A title and won 87 of 88 sets this season.
In addition to being named Kansas 1A Coach of the Year, Gurh is also MaxPreps Small School Coach of the Year.
In 2014, Goessel won its first 42 matches, then lost the 1A state title match to Centralia. The shoe was reversed this year with Centralia finishing as the runner-up.
"It's not about it being one loss. It's about that fulfillment that never quite came through. Finishing what we started," Guhr told the Hutchinson News. "That one on the back of our record was not talked about a lot - but we've thought about it a lot."

MB - Allie Barber, Cedarburg (Wis.), 6-5 Sr.Barber, who has signed with Marquette, led the Bulldogs to a 41-5 season. She averaged 4.5 kills (58.8 percent) and had 125 blocks on the season. She was a first team all-Wisconsin selection.
MB - Jamie Peterson, West Liberty-Salem (West Liberty, Ohio), 6-4 Sr.Peterson averaged 6.6 kills and 1.3 blocks per set for West Liberty-Salem. She was named to the All-Ohio First Team and District 9 First Team while also earning Player of the Year honors in both District 9 and the Ohio Heritage Conference as she led her team to an OHC Championship. She has signed with Dayton University.
MH - Mariah Whalen, Newman (Wausau, Wis.), 6-1 Jr.A
three-time first team all-state selection, Whalen led Newman to a 40-1
season and the D-4 state title when she once again put up big numbers:
697 kills (6.2 per set, 58.1 kill percentage), blocked 112 shots in 112
sets, had 310 digs (2.8) and returned 427 serves. She has committed to
Wisconsin.
MH - Mikayla Watson, Gunter (Texas), 5-11 Sr.Watson once again put up big numbers and repeats as a MaxPreps A-A after Gunter went 33-3. She had 636 kills (5.9 average, 64 percent kill average and 55.1 hitting percentage), 92.7 percent serving (52 aces), 74 blocks, 397 digs (3.7) and 418 (3.9) assists. The Oklahoma Baptist signee was named an all-star and District MVP.
MH - Jenna Huffman, McComb (Ohio), 6-2 Sr.Huffman, the two-time District 8 Player of the Year and returning MaxPreps All-American, led the 26-2 Panthers with 405 kills (5.0 average, 56.3 percent), 65 aces (95.4 percent), 85 blocks (1.0), 302 digs (3.7) and committed only seven serve reception errors out of 172. She has signed with Tiffin.
OH - Melanie McHenry, Speedway (Ind.), 6-2 Sr.The multiple MaxPreps All-American led Speedway to the state 2A title match and led the state in kills in both 2014 and 2015 (797, 7.1), also served 96.3 percent (51 aces), blocked 96 shots and had 338 (3.0) digs. She was named ICC Player of the Year twice and is a four-time all-county selection and three-time all-conference selection. McHenry, who will attend Louisville, was a four-year kicker for the football team as well as a four-year varsity tennis player, including MVP honors in 2015.
OH - Jaiden Farr, Morgan (Utah), 6-1 Sr.Signed with Pepperdine, Farr was named Utah's Miss Volleyball after leading the Trojans to a perfect 32-0 record and the Class 3A state championship. She recorded 390 kills, 232 digs and 33 service aces. She is a three-time all-state honoree and was also Class 3A Player of the Year as a junior. She was also Utah's 2015 Gatorade POY.
OH - Kara Bajema, Lynden Christian (Wash.), 6-2 Sr.Bajema helped Lynden Christian win back-to-back 1A state titles. She was the Whatcom County POY and a two-time first team pick at the Emerald City Volleyball Classic. The Washington signee averaged 6.1 kills (53.1 percent).
OH - Kennidee Willis, Deweyville (Texas), 5-10 Jr.Willis led the Patriots to a 35-5 season and averaged 4.8 digs, 6.9 kills (782, more than half of the Patriots' kills), 111 aces and 3.5 serve receptions per set. The two-time all-state selection was named District 23-3A Offensive MVP.
OH - Alexsa "Crash" Parker, Snow Canyon (St. George, Utah), 5-9 Sr.Parker led the Warriors with 587 kills (6.6 per set) and led her team to a second-straight 3A state title match. She also led the team in a number of other statistical categories, including earning 74 aces and 376 digs (4.1). She passed a 2.4 on 387 serve receive attempts and scored 661 points for the season. She also earned 39 blocks and returned 4.3 serves per set and was named the state 3A Offensive MVP. Utah's 2014 Gatorade winner, she has signed with New Mexico State.
OH - Kristen Nuss, Mt. Carmel (New Orleans), 5-6 Sr.Nuss led the Cubs (40-5) to the D-1 state championship, as she tallied 571 kills (56.1 kill percentage), 625 digs, 55 service aces and 49 blocks. The state's 2015 Miss Volleyball winner, she was the MVP of the state title match and is a three-time first team all-state selection. She has signed with LSU.
OH - Catie Cronister, Latin (Chicago), 5-10 Sr.A prolific hitter (568 kills with a 59.7 kill percentage), Cronister averaged 7.1 kills per set in leading Latin to a 30-8 campaign. The first-team all-stater, who has signed with Wofford, also scored 197 points on serves (130 aces), blocked 61 shots and averaged three digs per set.
S - Jorry Randall, Morgan (Utah), 5-7 Sr.Randall quarterbacked Morgan to an unbeaten season (32-0), a high national ranking and the 3A state title. She posted terrific numbers: 43 aces, 187 digs and 1,054 assists. She was also first team all-state 3A.
S - Sammy Mueller, P.K. Yonge (Gainesville, Fla.), 5-8 Sr.Mueller gave her all-American teammates the sets that helped lead the Blue Wave to their second-straight state title and fourth overall. She totaled 63 aces (91.3 percent, 204 points), 39 blocks and 166 digs (.1.8). The multiple-time all-state player has signed with Tampa.
L - Morgan Highfield, Paris (Ark.), 5-7 Sr.Highfield led Paris to the state D-4 title by averaging 8.3 digs per set. She also returned 496 serves (6.4 average) and was an all-state 3A selection.
A-A - Montana Swanson, Bishop England (Charleston, S.C.), 5-5 Sr.Swanson was named the South Carolina Coaches Association for Women's Sports (CAWS) Class AA Volleyball Player of the Year for the second-straight season after leading Bishop England to a 40-9-4 record and a national-record 16th-straight state championship. She led the Bishops with 318 kills and recorded 297 digs and 40 blocks.
A-A - Ali Denney, Pine (Stuart, Fla.), 5-10 Sr.Denney's overall numbers might be the best in the country: 631 kills in 84 sets (7.5 average) and 113 aces (1.3). A standout beach volleyball player, Denney led Pine to a 21-6 season and had a number of postseason honors. She has committed to South Carolina for beach volleyball.

MH - Katie Kendrick, Allen Central (Eastern, Ky.), 5-7 Sr.A five-year varsity starter, Kendrick was selected the Kentucky Class A Player of the Year after leading the Rebels with 526 kills (5.1 average), 72 aces, 175 blocks (1.7 average), 222 digs and 243 serve receptions. She was named a MaxPreps All-American in 2013 and finished her Allen career with 242 aces, 2,501 kills, 123 assists, 1,047 total blocks and 1,028 digs. A three-time all-state pick, she has signed with Kentucky Christian.
MH - Abby Thor, New Life Academy (Woodbury, Minn.), 6-2 Sr.Named the state 1A POY, Thor was first-team all-state in both her junior and senior seasons. She was named to the Pioneer Press and Star Tribune's All-Metro teams and a finalist for Ms. Baden State Volleyball POY, as she collected 417 kills while hitting .430 on the year. She has signed with Minnesota-Duluth.
MH - Kaira Moss, Western Christian (Hull, Iowa), 6-2 Sr.Moss, the Iowa 2A State POY, led Western Christian to its first 2A state title since 2010. She is one of eight athletes receiving Elite Team honors on the Iowa Girls Coaches Association all-state squad. Moss totaled 350 kills during her final season for Western Christian. That included 54 in her team's three state tournament matches.
MB - Sarah Swanson, Elkhorn South (Neb.), 6-1 Jr.Swanson led the Storm to the Class B state tournament semifinals with 515 kills (4.8), 74 aces (218 points), 81 blocks and 274 digs. Committed to TCU, she was first team All-State Elite.
OH - Grace Roberts-Burbank, Branson (Ross, Calif.), 6-3 Sr.Burbank averaged five kills and 93 percent serving (37 aces) in leading the Bulls to a 30-9 season and the California D-5 state title, their fifth since 2009. She has signed with Harvard.
OH - Alex Ratzlaff, Hillsboro (Kan.), 5-10 Sr.Ratzlaff averaged 7.0 kills and 5.8 digs per set and was named to the Kansas Volleyball Association All-State First Team. Ratzlaff, a repeat MaxPreps Small Schools All-American, has signed with Nebraska.
OH - Rachel Holmes, Upland Christian Academy (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.), 5-9 Sr.Holmes had 375 kills (3.8), 92 aces, 248 (2.5) digs and 361 serve receptions (3.7) - all team highs. Holmes was named the CIF-Southern Section 5AA POY.
OH - Caiden Rexius, Eaton (Colo.), 5-6 Sr.Named Colorado's 3A POY, Rexius led Eaton to an unbeaten season (28-0), a high national ranking and its third-straight 3A title. She averaged 4.2 kills, 3.9 digs and 2.2 serve receptions.
S - Allison Schomers, Skutt Catholic (Omaha, Neb.), 5-8 Jr.Named to the Nebraska All-Elite Volleyball Team, Schomers led Skutt (40-2) to the Class B state title, as she recorded 1,149 assists (12.1 average). She also served for 263 points (54 aces) and had 272 digs (3.0 average).
S - Loryn Huffman, McComb (Ohio), 5-8 Jr.Huffman teamed with her all-American sister (Jenna) to lead the Panthers to the state quarterfinals and a 26-2 season. She served 97.5 percent (60 aces), had 230 digs (3.1) and averaged 11.9 assists. She was named first-team all-state.
S - Kristine Gese, Notre Dame (Belmont, Calif.), 5-9 Jr.Gese played a major role in leading the Tigers to the California Division 4 state title. She led the state in assists with 1,482 for a 12.0 assists per set average. She also recorded 179 digs and 43 aces (94.9 percent, 243 points).
S - Natalie Breault, Bad Axe (Mich.), 5-10 Sr.Breault served for 381 points (93 percent., 118 aces), blocked 69 shots, averaged 3.3 digs and served up 919 assists (7.0) in earning all-state honors and leading Bad Axe to 29 wins.
L - Amanda Young, Gretna (Neb.), 5-8 Sr.Young averaged 6.4 digs as Gretna won 35 of 38 matches. A four-year varsity letter winner in both volleyball and track and field, Young was awarded In the Game Magazine's Athlete of the Year for 2013 and 2014, and in both 2014 and 2015 she was named to the all-conference first team. She has signed with Colorado State.
A-A - Sam Jaeke, Lourdes (Oshkosh, Wis.), 5-11 Sr.Jaeke, a versatile player, led the team in almost every category. She was first in kills (510) and aces (138), second in assists (507) and third in digs (316). The Knights finished the season with a 45-8 record. Jaeke is a two-time Oshkosh Northwestern Media Volleyball Player of the Year and has signed with Michigan Tech.
A-A - Sarah DeVries, NorthPointe Christian (Grand Rapids, Mich.), 6-1 Sr.Another Miss Michigan Volleyball finalist, DeVries wrapped up her high school career with 1,964 kills, 1,639 assists, 348 blocks and 1,238 digs. As a senior, she had 623 kills (5.9 average), 67 aces (92.7 percent), 92 blocks (0.9), 334 digs (3.2) and 340 assists (3.2) in leading NorthPointe deep into the postseason. A three-time all-state player, she has signed with Calvin College.
A-A - Antonya Schaffert, Otis (Colo.), 5-6 Sr.Schaffert was named the 1A Volleyball POY after leading Otis to the state title and a 27-1 season. She led the Bulldogs with 410 kills in 1,165 attacks and 518 digs. She had a serving percentage of 96.9 and 39 aces in her 322 serving attempts. In her four years at OHS, the senior went a combined 98-11 on the volleyball court.

Madison Dill, St. Johns Country Day

MB - Madison Dill, St. Johns Country Day (Orange Park, Fla.), 6-3 Sr.Dill was the 2015 All-Clay County Player of the Year and was named the Class 3A Player of the Year and to the All-First Coast Team. A member of the high school varsity team since the eighth grade, Dill helped her team to a 19-7 record, tallying 389 kills and 51 total blocks while hitting .537 over 74 sets as a senior.
MH - Jenna Reiff, Chester (S.D.), 6-2 Sr.Reiff led the Flyers (30-2) to the Class B state title, as she tallied 549 kills (.473 percentage), 239 digs, 99 blocks (1.0) and 44 service aces. A two-time first team all-state selection, she concluded her prep volleyball career with 1,572 kills and 977 digs. She has signed with Northern State University.
MH - Maddy Davis, Mt. Pulaski (Ill.), 6-3 Sr.The Louisiana Tech recruit hit .530 (4.9 kills) and led her team to the state finals. Named the Pantagraph Area POY, Davis also averaged 0.9 blocks and 2.5 digs per set.
MH - Daniella Russell, Red Lodge (Mont.), 6-0 Sr.Russell led Red Lodge to the state Class B title and a 30-4 season when she recorded 596 kills (5.4 average), 91 blocked shots, 393 digs (3.5 average) and 40 aces.
MH - Macey Kvilvang, North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland/Munich/Starkweather] (Cando, N.D.), 6-5 Jr.Kvilvang was dominant at the net for the Region 4 runner-up Bearcats. She had 544 kills and 143 blocks, as well as 214 digs and 67 aces.
OH - Jayci Suseland, Schoolcraft (Mich.), 6-3 Sr.A first-team all-state choice, Suseland had 830 kills for an average of 6.2 per set. She also had 338 digs for an average of 2.85 per set. She was voted the top volleyball player in the Kalamazoo area. The first-team all-star has signed with Grand Valley State.
OH - Madeline Mosher, Waterloo (Wis.), 6-0 Sr.The first-team all-state pick set a Wisconsin state championship record with a .478 hitting percentage and totaled 100 kills in three matches, including 41 in the state semifinals. She is a three-time first-team all-conference selection and has earned three Capital South Conference POY awards. She has signed with Marquette.
OH - Katie Smoot, Notre Dame (Belmont, Calif.), 6-1 Jr.Smoot averaged five kills per set to lead Notre Dame (32-10) to the California D-4 state title. She also had 180 digs and 57 aces and scored 236 points.
OH - Shannon Gurley, Rancho Solano Prep (Scottsdale, Ariz.), 5-10 Sr.Named first-team all-state after leading Prep to an 18-2 season, Gurley averaged 7.6 kills, 2.4 digs and 5.9 serve receptions. She also served 77 aces in 65 sets. She has signed with Washington University-St. Louis.
OH - Sam Burgio, Eden (N.Y.), 5-10 Jr.Burgio led the Raiders (37-8-1) to the Class C state championship, their state-record seventh title in a row. Burgio recorded 646 kills, 510 digs, 140 aces and 79 blocks. A first-team all-state selection each of the past two seasons, she's also a two-time member of the All-State Tournament Team and 2015 Gatorade POY. She has committed to Maryland.
OH - Page Hiebert, Goessel (Kan.), 5-11 Sr.Hiebert, a two-time state 1A POY, led Goessel to a 44-0 season and the state 1A title. Hiebert averaged 5.5 kills (58.1 kill percentage) served 96.2 percent with 56 aces, blocked 40 shots and had 186 digs.
S - Madison Broering, St. Henry (Ohio), 5-9 Sr.Broering, all-state and the All-MAC POY, led St. Henry to a 28-1 record when she recorded 960 assists (10.1 per set), 46 aces (96.4 percent and 236 points), 131 kills (1.4), blocked 48 shots and had 272 digs (2.8).
S - Ashlyn Roberts, Sneads (Fla.), 5-4 Sr.Among the national leaders in aces per set (2.4), Roberts led Sneads to the 1A state title with 344 service points, 642 (6.9) assists and 104 (1.1) kills.
S - Annie Preddy, South Granville (Creedmoor, N.C.), 5-6 Sr.Preddy led South Granville to a 2A state title, a 30-3 record and 26 straight season-ending victories. She totaled 1,254 assists (10.6 average) and recorded 60 aces on 94.1 percent serving.
A-A - Remi Quesnelle, Frontier Regional (South Deerfield, Mass.), 5-8 Sr.Quesnelle led the Red Hawks to a 22-4 record and its sixth-straight small school title. She totaled 306 kills (3.8), served 98 aces (258 points in 88 sets), 265 digs (3.0) and returned 346 serves with only 18 errors. Quesnelle was named the State Tournament MVP. She is a two-time all-state selection.
A-A - Catherine Clemens, Burns (Ore.), 5-11 Jr.Clemens led Burns to its second-straight 2A state title by averaging 4.5 kills (491), serving 79 aces, blocking 66 shots, digging 340 balls (3.1) and receiving 324 balls. She is the sister of NFL quarterback Kellen Clemens and was Oregon's 2A POY.
