21. (NR) American Heritage (Plantation, Fla.), 14-1
American Heritage looked superb in a 66-8 win over Clay. Its only loss was to Central.

22. (NR) East Jefferson (Metairie, La.), 15-0
East Jefferson proved it was for real by closing out its season with wins over Neville and Edna Karr.

23. (NR) Norcross (Ga.), 13-2
The state's preseason No. 1 team avenged an early-season loss to North Gwinnett by beating them in the AAAAAA title game.

24. (NR) Salpointe Catholic (Tucson, Ariz.), 14-0
Salpointe overwhelmed competition all season long, culminating in a state title for Dennis Bene's squad.

25. (NR) Aledo (Texas), 14-0
After a slow start, the all-time greatest offense (statistically) got rolling, as Aledo beat Ennis 29-6.
